Book Blogger Hop

Happy Friday! It's been a cold week here and even though it's supposed to warm up a bit this weekend, I think I'll still stay in curled up with a good book and a cup of tea.

Welcome to the hop, hosted by Jennifer at Crazy For Books. Each week book bloggers visit each other, finding new blogs and more great reads!

This weeks question is: Tell us about one of your posts from this week and give us a link so we can read it.

I'm going to share my review of War Child: A Child Soldier's Story. Emmanuel Jal is now an international hip hop star, but at the age of 7 was raging in his native Sudan and he was conscripted as a child soldier. He did his share of fighting, but was rescued by British aid worker and has gone on to use his musical talent to share the story of child soldiers. Incredible read. With the recent vote on secession for Southern Sudan, and the increased use of child soldiers around the world, this is a timely and important read.

What's been your favourite read lately?
Thanks for hopping by and have a good weekend!

  2. The Post Is:

This week I reviewed a work of suspense fiction that is such a wide departure from the thriller genre that I feel everyone – fans and foes of the genre alike – really should investigate.
