It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
It finally feels like Spring!!! Sort of. We're getting there. My reading slump is officially gone and I'm having a great time with so many fantastic books being released recently or in the next few weeks. April is definitely a busy month for me. And impromptu trips to the bookstore never help!
What I Read Last Week
Captive In Iran by Maryam Rostampour and Marziyeh Amirizadeh
Family Pictures by Jane Green
Ghana Must Go by Taiye Selasi
The Gospel Centered Woman by Wendy Alsup
What I'm Reading Now
A Beautiful Truth by Colin McAdam
Taylor's Gift by Todd and Tara Storch
What I Plan to Read Next
A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki
The Stop: How the Fight For Good Food Transformed a Community and Inspired a Movement by Nick Saul and Andrea Curtis
What are you reading this week?
I want to read that Ozeki! Can't wait to hear what you think of it :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to it. I love how she's using things washed up in Canada from the tsunami since that's what's happening now. It's amazing to think of what is washing up and the ways that people are now connected through them.
DeleteI read Taylor's Gift this week - it's beautiful! Hope you enjoy it - have some tissues handy!
ReplyDeleteI was crying in the first chapter! I'm looking forward to the rest of it, organ donation is something important to me.
DeleteIt was lovely today, I was able to take the kids to the park this morning and let them burn off energy!
ReplyDeleteI'm really interested in reading Ghana Must Go. And I have A Tale for the Time Being but I'm not sure when I'll be reading it.
We'll be heading to the park when my daughter gets home from school, can't miss out on this sunshine!
DeleteI really liked Ghana Must Go, and I've heard great things about A Tale for the Time Being. Hope you get to them soon!
I've read some Jane Greens in the past and enjoyed them, looking forward to your thoughts on this weeks reads.
