Month In Review

Spring is here, finally!  Today I wore sandals.  That's a very big deal you see.  I'm not a fair-weather sandal wearer.  I don't break out the pedicure at the first ray of sunlight or as soon as the thermometer hits double digits.  I wait until I can wear them consistently.  And that my friends, looks to be now.

At the end of last month, I broke out my reading slump and it seems to have carried through to April.  I have quite a few books I read this past month that I am yet to review here, so that's a good thing.  Here is what I read, with my GoodReads ratings.

Ghana Must Go by Taiye Selasi *****

Captive in Iran by Maryam Rostampour and Marziyeh Amirizadeh

Friends & Foes by ReShonda Tate Billingsley and Victoria Christopher Murray ****

Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella ****

A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki ****

The Stop by Nick Saul ****

Wave by Sonali Deraniyagala ****

Taylor's Gift by Todd and Tara Storch ****

Family Pictures by Jane Green ****

Struggles of a Dreamer by Yahaya Baruwa ***

In Calamity's Wake by Natalee Caple ***

The Juggler's Children by Carolyn Abraham ***

Tales of the Defended Ones by Beth Guckenberger ***

A Beautiful Truth by Colin McAdam ***

The Gospel Centered Woman by Wendy Alsup ***

This Month
There are just so many good books sitting on my shelf waiting to be read and so many more coming out.  I'm looking forward to reading The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Studio Saint-Ex by Ania Szado together.  I am also looking forward to the release of Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

  1. Nice books. I do want to read A Tale for the Time Being, when I get the time and if I can get a hold of one somehow!
