Month In Review

January was a good month.  It was freezing cold outside most of the month so I guess I just stayed inside with some good books to keep me company.  Here is what I read (stars are my Goodreads rating)

Perfect - Rachel Joyce ****
Bonkers - Jennifer Saunders ****
When I Fall in Love - Miranda Dickinson ****
The Dancing Master - Julie Klassen ****
The Embassy of Cambodia - Zadie Smith ****
Prayers for Boys - Brooke McGlothlin ****
All the Broken Things - Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer ****
Candide - Voltaire ****
The Secret Keeper - Beverly Lewis ***

A Look Ahead

Here are a few of the books I'm looking forward to reading in February

  1. I think the polar vortex was good for people's reading if nothing else. Are you going to review the Zadie Smith? And I can't wait to see what you have to say about Olivia Chow's book.

    1. I will review the Zadie Smith book, hopefully soon. There are quite a few new books that I want to get reviews out on. I can't wait for Olivia Chow's book, I'm really hoping she'll run for mayor here.

    1. I've heard such great things about The Bear, and Independence sounds like it's right up my alley.
