Classics Club Spin
It is time for another Classics Club Spin! If you're not familiar with The Classics Club, go here to find out about it and sign up (because once you read about it, you'll want to sign up.) The premise of the spin is easy: pick 20 books from your list and number them. A number will be randomly chosen and you will read the book that corresponds with that number.
Last time around, I failed miserably. I don't think I even started the book (though in all fairness, I was in a serious reading slump.) This time around I've picked 20 true classics that have been around for a while (instead of the more recent classics on my list.) I won't mention which numbers I'm hoping are not picked!

Good luck! I hope for your sake it'll be either Austen, Wharton or Christie, all favourites of mine. The Woman in White is also on my list - have you read any other Collins? He'll be a new-to-me author. My own spin picks will be posted tomorrow, I'm still debating whether or not I actually want to include 900-page books :p
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any Collins and I'm kind of excited to get to The Woman in White. The length of Classics books always factor into the making of my list!
DeleteGood luck with the spin! I did the first 2 and I'd really like to do this one as well. But I've promised myself to read Les Mis in September already! Hmm.
ReplyDeleteI'm split in half with my success of the spin. I hope to get it this time. I added Les Mis to my list but that was a very tough decision!
DeleteI really really hope you get no.11! The Woman in White is the best book EVER and I think everyone needs to experience how amazing it is. Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to read it, and have it on Kindle but just haven't gotten to it. Even if it's not picked for the spin, I hope to get to it by the end of this year.
