It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Last week I hit the halfway mark to reading 100 books in a year!  This is very exciting for me as I've tried for the past three years to read that many and I've never hit the triple digit mark.  Looks like this will be my year (I probably just jinxed it right there.)

What I Read Last Week
I'm glad I finally read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, it's a scary/interesting look at what our future could quickly become.  I'm No Angel by Kylie Bisutti is Kylie's story about being a Christian in the modelling world.  Just What Kind of Mother Are You? by Paula Daly is a story of a mother's worst nightmare, a child going missing under your watch.

What I'm Reading Now

Life after Life by Kate Atkinson is one of the talked-about novels for 2013.  The Best Place on Earth by Ayelet Tsabari is a collection of short stories about the Jewish Yemeni people.

What I Plan to Read Next
Studio Saint-Ex by Ania Szado is the story of Antoine de Saint-Exupery, his love triangle, and the time in which he wrote The Little Prince so I look forward to reading the two of them together (I've never read The Little Prince before!)

What are you reading this week?

  1. I'm glad you liked 451. Scary to think about isn't it? I read it for the first time a few years ago and was pretty much blown away.

I hope you like Life After Life, I thought it was great!

I've never read The Little Prince before either. I would really like to. I think it's one of those books that everyone should have read..reader shame! ;)
