It's Monday What Are You Reading?
It's Monday! It's the last week before school lets out for summer! Happy dances all around in my home.
It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It's a great place to meet book bloggers and find out what they are reading.
Last week I read:
The Red House by Mark Haddon
No Greater Love by Levi Benkert
Born to Be Brad by Brad Goreski
Breakdown by Sara Paretsky
(Reviews coming soon)
I am currently reading:
The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker
Swim by Jennifer Weiner
Starring Me by Krista McGee
I have a few other books in my pile I'm hoping to get to but they're due back at the library this week so I'm not sure I'll get to them. So we'll see how this week goes.

What are you reading this week?
I've got a stack of books from the library that are gonna have to go back unread. I always bring home way more than I can read. Hope this week is full of reading for you.
ReplyDeleteI try to use the online account feature to space my books coming in but every once in a while I mess up and get a whole bunch at once. This was one of those times!
DeleteYou are reading all titles new to me. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Hopefully when I post the reviews you'll find something that interests you.
DeleteLooks a nice pile. That particular Weiner book is new to me.
ReplyDeleteIt's an e-book short story thats sort of an introduction to her new book The Next Best Thing that's coming out next week!
DeleteLook forward to reading upcoming reviews. Check out my Monday post at www.rachelrmrblog.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Rachel!
DeleteAs a teen on vacation I got used to checking out a huge stack of books; even now, when if I'm lucky I make it through 2-3 books per week, I have a hard time limiting my checkouts to that number; hence the large stack that goes back unread or the large fines.
ReplyDeleteOh the large fines. I get those a lot. I'm trying my hardest this year to not pay fines but it's not happening. They build up so quick!
DeleteI've been eying the Red House but haven't picked it up yet. My favorite read last week was Chi's Sweet Home, Volume 1 by Kanata Konami. Please come see what else I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Not sure I'm going to write a glowing review of The Red House, but I'm sure there are others who will love it.
DeleteAge of Miracles? I keep seeing that one around. I need to check it out.
ReplyDeleteHere's my
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? I hope you will stop by!
The Age of Miracles sounds fantastic. It's getting lots of buzz for the summer, I can't wait to read it.
ReplyDeleteThese all look good. I am especially intrigued by Gathering of Waters.
ReplyDeleteI requested a ton of books on my online library system - all new books - and quite a few of them all became available at once. And of course, they came in while I was trying to get through some review books...but luckily I managed to get them all done.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

These all look good to me. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteI have read a few books by Jennifer Weiner, but this is the first time I've seen Swim. I'm off to check it out!
